The Chief Product Officer for YouTube TV recently announced some changes coming to the service in 2022. These are along the lines of streamlining your user interface to give you more control over how you organize and watch your favorite content.
I wish we had screenshots to share these changes, but none have been released. A timeline for the changes has not been released either. So in both cases, we’ll have to wait and see.
A few specifics were mentioned …
- Updating the Library to make it easier to organize your recorded programs
- Modifying the Live section to give you more information and control
- Adding picture-in-picture ability on the iPhone so you can watch video while using other apps
These are in addition to the new ways you can customize the Live channel grid.
